To be fair, poor management is probably the reason why they haven't won anything for the last 8 years ;) and if he was at a club like United, Chelsea, Monaco, Real Madrid, he'd easily be sacked as a result of that.
That is exactly what really do not get. What is it about the guy that the club will not get rid of him. I think that the board a Arsenal have something against winning that is why they keep on staying with the Guy.

Ashley, I think poor management pretty much sums everything up... o_O

petersos, I really don't believe it, Wenger has 16 years of Arsenal, I think he loves the club... About his move to PSG, I really doubt it, but I am pretty sure Arsenal fans would be happy to see him leave.
Extremely happy the guy is just becoming a liability. Winning is just like something they hate. As far as patience goes goes this is just beyond the limit for even the best teams in the world. The advice that I would give is fire the guy.

I don't see Wenger getting fired, even more after this last wins they are probably considering offering him a new deal. Maybe this is Arsenal's year. :)

So it's not just me then, I am confused too but I guess as long as he's making the club money and staying in the CL is the probably the reason why they keep him there.

I can imagine Man Utd going all youth or Man City starting with the U21's and keeping them until they reach 28 *sarcasm*

That for me is what is really sad for me. The guy is pressured by the fans ups his game then after the pressure is off he becomes complacent. However, I also feel that this is Arsenal's year.

Hahahaha Yes its really good to have a vision and a dream about something. However, sometimes you need to wake up and face reality. That is what I think the Arsenal fans just made Wenger become aware of when he lost the season opener.

I think Ozil will be better than Cesc but only time will tell! I'm glad Arsenal got him because he seems to be fitting like a glove in Wenger's style of play. If he works hard and sticks along for the long run he will be there along Henry and Fabregas.

Arsenal wins the title and then 8 more years without winning. :D Wouldn't be too bad, but Chelsea and Mourinho are going to take it. :)

Such comparisons only tend to make a player try to be like someone else. Everyone is unique so comparisons aside. . .

Ozil is under pressure to help Arsenal score more goals. The Manager, The Fans, His Former team-mates [virtually everyone] is hoping that Ozil will be the new Bergkamp who'll lead Arsenal to greater heights. But let's not forget that Arsenal's squad lacks depth. They have just one striker who is fit.

Much as Ozil is expected to be much better than Fabregas we have to be realistic. Between now and the January transfer window the impact Ozil will make in Arsenal won't be much but once Wenger adds a quality striker to the squad then the pressure will let up a little and Ozil will definitely perform better on the pitch.

Arsenal has 5 wins in a row, it's impressive, if they hadn't lost their first match it would have been a perfect record. Let's see when they face Chelsea and the Manchester teams, the spurs already lost with them.

It will be interesting to watch when the Manchester clubs and Chelsea take them on with a new Ozil side and then we can see how much he makes a difference to the team but judging on what he's done so far, it seems to work.

Arsenal has quite a few injured players at the moment, so if they keep winning even with the small teams that will be quite an achievement, considering their bench is not the strongest on the Premiership.
