Seeing how Ozil scored in Germany's world cup qualifier match. It has left no doubt in the mind that this season Aseranl are title contenders this season.
Ozil does need to fit in well for the fans to trust Wenger but I would have thought a new goalkeeper would be on the list but an extra striker wouldn't cause any harm.
Yeah they have is true but you know they have a really bizarre manger. You never know what is on his mind. Therefore I am also watching this with bated breath.
I was thinking of a similar thing, wondering why he sells Van Persie and Fabregas and then buys Ozil when he had plenty of money from transfer surplus in recent seasons to buy Ozil outright and still keep those 2 players.
I have heard rumors that at the end of this season Wenger will be going to PSG. I think he is trying to save his targets for when he moves to this club. If this is the case then that is pure sabotage as a club. Furthermore, I have heard hearing that he went after Ozil because he knew if he did not bring in a good player the fans would not cut him any slack. He would just be fired in the middle of the season.
Ashley, I think poor management pretty much sums everything up...
petersos, I really don't believe it, Wenger has 16 years of Arsenal, I think he loves the club... About his move to PSG, I really doubt it, but I am pretty sure Arsenal fans would be happy to see him leave.
To be fair, poor management is probably the reason why they haven't won anything for the last 8 years and if he was at a club like United, Chelsea, Monaco, Real Madrid, he'd easily be sacked as a result of that.
I never know what goes on at arsenal as it is appears that the owner/s are interesting in making a lot of money but not investing it properly in the team but it appears the fans treat him like a god with the way he brings youths up to the first team.
Worrying that it isn't winning trophies for them as I would be worried if I was an Arsenal fan.
