Among the best player in the world, No! Overrated absolutely; for one to be even even be mentioned among the best players there is this issue of consistency that has to be addressed. For me he has not shown that so far. Therefore, until he passes this test of consistency then he is just a good player.

Bale has been groomed well at Tottenham. There is every reason to believe he will perform well wherever he is transferred. A winger who can score with the power he demonstrates is a rarity. I think it will show when he plays alongside Ronaldo and against Messi in big competitions.

Rating him among the big 3 or 5 is bound to attract debate. It may be a bit too early to rate him among the best, but I believe he will continue performing well. He is physically very strong and has got it in him to continue for a very long time without losing his potential.

That is exactly how i am also seeing it. In football there must be speculation that makes people want to see the player play and for the players themselves to play at the top of their game.It is sort like when a person becomes tops in a class there is an automatic pressure for them to stay at the top.. Therefore I know that Bale is worth the money that was payed to get him

Ozil was no doubt a great signing, just yesterday I was reading he is selling more shirts in Arsenal than Bale in Real, in a proportion of 5 to 1... :)

On whether Bale is overrated I think he is but this pressure will make him top rated. He proved that when he scored on his debut for the team. With that he is sure to bring all the money that was used on him. Just wait for it I am betting on it call it being an optimist.

Don't know if Ronaldo will stay in Madrid for the rest of his career, it is possible if Real is capable of paying him as the best in the world, but if not other clubs will and I think he just might follow the money.
I also fee the same way. When you have proved you are able then sometimes you just follow the money. Its not money loving but changing scenes and looking for more challenges. Which will automatically come with the money.

Well from what I've seen of him at Real Madrid I can say that the man really works well and he's not having that "I'm the best" mindset, he did pretty good on the games he played by them until now, too bad he couldn't play the 90min on this first round of UCL, let's wait to see more of him, but I'm pretty sure something good will come from the combo with Ronaldo.

Bale is surely not worth the money Madrid payed for him but he may well turn up to become very valuable for Real's play. If he is in top form there is almost no defender that can stop him. He will increase the offensive power of his team and in 2-3 years he may enter the race for the top player in the world. Right now, I would say he is somewhere in the top 15 players.

That is putting it straight that is the same way that I have been thinking. However remember that Rolnaldo was also bought for the same style of play. He has proven to be something that is working for Real. Therefore i am sure that He will prove to be worth the money that was spent on him.
