I would worry about the current situation Arsenal is in. The transfer window closes in about 12 days, and they have yet to sign a big player. I'm sure they would welcome Rooney, if he can agree to a lower monthly allowance.

I think based on tonight's result between Chelsea and United is certain that Rooney will stay but despite Arsenal having £80m to spend have failed to recruit any signings which is a concern considering Tottenham have blitzed the transfer market with quality signings.

Suarez, Benzama, Rooney, Di Maria have all been linked but nothing has materialised, I do hope Wenger knows what he's doing as buying a player similar to Suarez or Rooney would turn them into title contenders, definitely a concern for Arsenal supporters especially since Tottenham have spent.

With the transfer window soon to close, I too have apprehensions about Arsenal getting a world-class player, even with money to spend. Recent results clearly show the team has potential. They must learn to overcome injuries, if they stand a realistic chance of winning the league.

Exactly, the team has the potential to do well with the likes of Wilshere, Ramsey, Walcott, Ox-Chamberlain and Cazorla but they need a real leader from the back in the way Vidic is for United, Carragher for Liverpool before he retired or even John Terry, if Arsenal can get a world class player with that leadership, then they will have a very good chance.

Of course injuries don't help the team but Wenger does need to spend to overcome this problem.

I think he's going in for several players. There is too much pressure on him not to get some players in quickly. The recent wins after the early loss to Aston Villa is helping him a bit. There are too many players getting injured. The team needs some forceful players at the back and a defensive half as well. Mathieu Flamini on a free transfer is a welcome addition.

The only two guys which are really making me wonder if they're staying or going are Rooney and Bale, Mourinho already signed up Etoo so I think rooney will probably stay, but is Bale definitely staying or going to Madrid? If madrid gets bale without selling ozil or di maria I think it's just a bad management move.

There are pictures of Bale shoing him in Mardid and Tottenham announced the signing of three players including Lamela who mostly plays as a left winger so I think this tranfer is over. I think Madrid have to sell Ozil or Kaka because they have too many attacking midfielders but if you think about it hey have only 3 wingers, who are Bale, Christiano Ronaldo and Di Maria. No one else. So, I don't think they have to sell one of them. The only possibility for Di Maria to leave the club is if he asks for it because he won't have much playing time. If he is satisfied as a reserve of the two stars then he will stay.

Flamini is a welcome addition to Arsenal after he did well the last time he was at the Gunners, surprised they let him go in the first place.

Real Madrid do need to sell some of their attacking midfielders and Kaka would be welcome at Manchester United for a few years if they don't get Fellani, I still think he'd do a decent job there.

If Arsenal do pull it off and sign Benzama, Di Maria and Ozil for £80 million, then they will be serious contenders.

Arsene get's it right. First it was Flamini who gelled so well with the team, it looked as if he never left. Now with the addition of Ozil, the team is more balanced. I still think they need another striker. Well, you never know. Arsene may be having another ace up his sleeve.

They have already beaten Tottenham, so I think they are off to a better start than most imagined after that home defeat with Villa in day one.
