Better Fellaini than no one at all. He's a decent player, if he signs it won't be a big name signing but he'll be adequate for a while.

Just hoping we somehow get Baines. If he joins, Moyes may yet salvage something from this transfer season.

I hope we get Fellaini too because far too often over the years we have lacked the physical/ball winning midfielder since the departure of Roy Keane.

I really want to see more of Bale next season, he is a beast! But I honestly don`t know if Real Madrid would be a good choice. I think it will be more of a prestige signing than anything else, because Madrid already has those dominant players in Ronaldo and Özil, with newly transfered guys pushing in next season.
In my opinion he should just stay in England, but join a "major" club like Utd.

One of the most successful teams in Europe has been Bayern Munich in the last season. That's because they have talented wingers like Arjen Robben.

Real Madrid has seen the same potential in Gareth Bale. That's why they need him badly to work out the same strategy for a winning spree based on current form of the player.

Gareth bale has only had one good season and he is not even proven in Europe.

If he is comparable to Arjen Robben, which he is taking into consideration his current form, Gareth Bale will perform even better with Real Madrid.

His role as a winger cannot be changed. The management has identified his potential and will make necessary changes to the team to suit his style of play.

He definitely won't be benched that often. Working out a strategy based on flank attack is definitely on. Let's wish him all the luck.

Bale is talented for sure but I doubt Real will change their style to accommodate him. You can't have a team trying to pander to two different players. I am sure Bale will do for Real if he does move there (which I doubt he would now) but not as well as he was for Spurs.

Whether Bale is moving to Real or not is still not known. There was talk earlier in the week that the money slapped on the table was too much. So if Real feel signign Bale might hurt their pockets then Bale will have to be with Spurs for a little while longer.

It would be an embarassing turn of events (for Bale) after he'd bid his buddies goodbye:

It's unlikely that Bale would leave Tottenham based on the current state of affairs. Real Madrid appear to be uncertain about spending that amount of money and when has Levy ever hesitated?

Bale will be able to adjust with Tottenham, if he were to stay behind. A sendoff party does not indicate anything much except that he must have wanted to have time to himself before the transfer.

It also shows he's in good books of the management as well as other players. He will find it quite easy to stay back with Spurs and perform like a star that he is. In fact, he now knows his real value and will perform better to bag a lucrative transfer deal at a later stage.

Amid all this hubbub, Bale has played the part of a gentleman. Quite naturally, therefore he could fit right back into Spurs but no amount of adjustment can get his mind off the fact that he could be starting the season as one of the best paid footballers in the world. But that's if Real call the deal off.

Anything can happen anyway so I'm sure Bale is waiting for the final news with bated breath.

Too late now and the buzz about the deal seems to have died down. It seems like there is another season in the EPL for Bale after all.

Imagine if Bale went to Madrid? Ronaldo and Bale running at you. You have to pity the Spanish defenders. I am surprised that Spurs are not cashing in as it only takes an injury, loss of form or Gareth seeing out his contract and he leaves for free!!

Time is ticking for United to make a major signing. They need to replace Scholes and Rooney if he gets his own way. I am a fan of Baines and he would be a great signing. Not sure about Fellaini though. The wig stores in Manchester would increase turnover but is he good enough to step into Scholes’ boots?
