Took him long enough to open his wallet! hahaha. To be honest I don't think he would have lasted much longer if he had not bought anyone, you can compete in the Premier League on the cheap.

Real Madrid will miss him, I trust on Isco and Modric but I don't know, I think Ozil fitted more for the long run, at least for this year, Isco is just too fresh at the moment and still needs time to adapt, good transfer from the Arsenal point of view anyway.

Yes, this transfer seems not be good for Real Madrid as they are losing a world class playmaker. In Ozil's point of view, I think it's a good move as he doesn't need to compete for first eleven spot in Arsenal. If he choose to stay in Real then he would be a bench warmer due to the stiff competition in the midfield.

I think he'll do really well at Arsenal in tandem with Aaron Ramsey. If and when Podolski is fit, I see a formidable half line capable of penetrating the toughest defensive lineup.

I wasn't aware of this until now and it is a big surprise for me. I really don't understand why Real let him go, well I do, after giving 100M for Bale half is already back to them...

interesting transfer and very ambitious of Arsenal to pull off a signing considering Ozil's assists are priceless. I can see them pushing a lot of teams back now once he settles in.

Madrid will miss him but I think Bale will soften the blow for the fans

It was about time for Wenger to buy a player of such high class, the team really needed a well-rounded playmaker such as Özil. I'm looking forward to seeing the team's performance with him.

Well well well the old man of Arsenal has pulled off a surprise. This will relieve the pressure of Wenger for a while. However, this can be short lived if results do not start being seen. Therefore, I hold my breath on this Ozil deal.

I think Wenger was just waiting for Real to buy Bale to be needy for money, possibly Real bought Bale already counting with Ozil's money.

It will be interesting to see how Arsenal play now that Ozil has arrived, they will be more attack minded but will it be enough as I heard they needed a new keeper if anything. But maybe they'll score enough goals to have the opposition worried.

It's a must that Ozil fits in really quick, it was a huge investment. I think they should have bought a striker as well, let's see if they manage like this.
