I think Suarez is just waiting for Bale to go to Madrid to move to Tottenham. What I would really enjoy seeing would be Rooney on Chelsea, but I don't see Moyes letting him go.

Where does that leave Arsenal? They want Luis just as bad. It would be a big mistake if Arsene does not get Luis to move over to his side. The potential big-budget buy will put Arsenal in a strong position to win the Premiership as well as perform well in the Champion's League. They have easy draw with Fenerbahce liable to be penalized for match fixing.

Danch, Arsenal has to put the money on the table if it wants to get any players, August 13th today and they have nothing, if they keep bargaining they will begin 2013/14 with the same players as 2012/13.

I don't know if Chelsea will win the league now that 'The Special One' is back, but he is a welcome personality in the drama of the Premier League now that Sir Alec 'Fergie-time' Ferguson is retired. I can't see the trophy going anywhere other than Manchester or South London.

I would not discount the chances of both Liverpool and Arsenal. If Luis Suarez stares back at Liverpool, default or otherwise, he's a potential threat to any opposition.

Likewise, if the move to Arsenal comes about, there is every chance of Arsenal winning the league.

Chelsea is a stable team, and I believe Mourinho will drill the team into a consistent winning mode sooner than later.

I agree with mosy of your points but the point about Liverpool and Arsenal challenging for the title I feel is flawed because for you to challenge for the title you have to be able to guarantee a top 4 finish, which I feel Liverpool and Arsenal are unable to do.

Arsenal and Liverpool cannot challenge for titles right now. The top 3 are just so much better than them. Heck, even a top 4 is not guaranteed for them with Spurs investing so much in their team this transfer season. For Liverpool the first challenge is to actually finish above Everton this season.

Arsenal has already shown with preseason results against Man City it is more than capable of holding its own right at the top. It is just a matter of getting an exceptional striker with hustle and bustle rather than just finesse with the defense well settled. D

I also feel Man U, Chelsea, and Man City will be the main opposition for Arsenal. A positive result against all these three teams, both home and away, is definitely going to enhance their chances of winning the league.

Mate I sure you acknowledge the fact that pre-season is different from an actual premier league season.

I totally agree. However, it does indicate a trend. We are considering two of the best teams in the league. A preseason result is definitely going to motivate Arsenal and dent the confidence of man city to some extent.
Final results for both home and away may be totally different, if Arsenal does not implement lessons it picked up from the friendly. It does give the team more options, and reduces load on Arsene Wenger. He seems to be having difficulty in getting players are his choice. A top three finish would be a suitable final result.

A pre-season game will not in any way affect a team's morale because it is common knowledge that you don't have to win any match, that you should see it as an opportunity to improve match fitness.
