Mourinho is back to Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City have new coaches as well, who do you think will take the title?

For me Chelsea takes the lead because Mourinho usually does very well in his first year, he was Champion in his first year in Porto, Chelsea, Inter, only missed it at Madrid, but I think he will be back on track this year.

I foresee a future for Mourinho that is not all utopian at all. This is because Chelsea are witnessing their worst run of form for a few years having finished 3rd and 6th respectively in their previous campaigns. Not to mention the fact that they finished 14 points behind the leaders. How do people expect them to close down the gap just because Mourinho is there? They haven't signed any significant players of note. Having said this, I hope for the sake of Chelsea fans that he does well.

I think Chelsea will be a favourite this season, Mourinho is a very good manager. Maybe I'm being naive, but I'm rather surprised that Mourinho came back after being given the boot the last time, I heard that Abramovich was rather nasty to him. Maybe they kissed and made up? Maybe he offered him a ton of money?

If Rooney stays back at Man U with the backing of his fellow players, I think the club will win the league. Gary Neville has already shown players are backing Rooney to stay back. It is just a matter of time before others also make statements asking for Rooney.

There is definite reason to believe the club has made the first move towards getting all players together. Man U has shown it is capable of winning under extreme pressure. I believe we will see the same team spirit, the never-give-up spirit that makes Man U one of the best teams ever to have played the game.

When Mourinho first came to Chelsea they haven't won the title in what, 50 years? And he made it on his first year. So he's quite capable, even more after Real, the club where he won the less titles in his career, he needs to prove himself again.

Yeah. Not to mention the fact that the Premier League has alternated marginally so he has to adapt as well as other foreign managers.

Mourinho has it in him to completely change the prospects of a team. I believe he changes style plate completely going in for a slightly defensive strategy. The half line is always strong on the ball which makes the opponents wary of using touch play.

Chelsea has given him enough time to think of a strategy using the same set of players. It is obvious players will respond positively to his game plan. He has already produced results needed at the same club. I don't see why his strategies cannot be implemented.

The said strategies are not certain to work because the league has progressed since the last time he managed. It is more technical and he doesn't have the best squad which he had before.

A defensive style of play demands a highly technical setup where counter attacks will produce goals.

Barcelona succeeded without a genuine striker for such a long time simply because of the skill and technical prowess of the half line.

Chelsea has experienced players to implement the same style. They may lack the same ball skills but will make up with power play. I think Mourinho will succeed. We may see the same dominant Chelsea we recognized hardly three seasons ago.

Chelsea have a great squad this time round and it's possible that they just might win the league but that is if Man City fail to get their act together. If they do then what we'll witness is Man Untd and Chelsea fighting for the number two position.

I totally agree with you. Chelsea winning the title is hugely reliant on the performance of Man Utd and City

I would not discount the chances of both Liverpool and Arsenal. If Luis Suarez stares back at Liverpool, default or otherwise, he's a potential threat to any opposition.

Likewise, if the move to Arsenal comes about, there is every chance of Arsenal winning the league.

Chelsea is a stable team, and I believe Mourinho will drill the team into a consistent winning mode sooner than later.
