Yeah, jealousy is a big part of it. Chelsea are a good example of that. The neutral liked Chelsea in the '90's because we played entertaining football with players like Zola, Petrescu and Di Matteo. Now we are more successful the whole country hates us.

hey i dont hate chelsea! man u yes lol but then who doesn't haha

I think you are in the minority, gordon. However, I understand why people hate Chelsea, they see us as the enemy of football because we buy success. The reality is that success has always been bought in football, it's nothing new.

I find it strange when fans of clubs like Norwich City and Swansea hate Chelsea, clubs we have absolutely no rivalry with.

I've been a Bournemouth supporter for about 2 years :) I'm also a Blackpool fan. Must be something about coastal towns beginning with 'B' hehe. I wasn't really into football that much until a couple of years ago. So i'm probably not the most diehard fan you can find.

That's nice but I've never understood how someone can support two football clubs. I know I would never even consider supporting another football club, Chelsea is my club for life.

I suppose it's because you are new to football, you picked who you like.

yea i don't really get how you support two clubs either! what happens if they draw each other in a cup? lol

I don't really see them as proper fans if they support more than one club. I know it's becoming more common with the 'modern' fans but I think that's a sad indictment on what supporting a football club has become. It's more akin to buying a product than following your local team.
