I've been a Chelsea fan since 1990. I am from a Chelsea family - my great grandad supported Chelsea since the founding of the club and my grandad supported Chelsea for 70 years. My grandad bought me a Chelsea kit when I was a baby, it was the 'Commodore' kit, I've been a fan ever since.

Who do you support and why?

I support Chelsea too, mainly because I grew up in Westminster and that's the team all my friends supported. I still support them, and defend them even though there are some players I do intensely dislike - Lampard and Terry. I have also bought my sons Chelsea duvet covers so that they remember who they are allowed to support! My son has pointed out that they aren't really our local team as we now live in North London, but who cares? Not me. It's a heart thing!

How can you intensely dislike Lampard and Terry? Terry is our most successful captain ever and Lampard is our third highest goalscorer of all time.

I don't disagree with you, but I just don't like them. It's not business -it's personal! lol

I don't believe everything I read in the newspapers, most of the stores about Terry's personal life are exaggerated or made up. He might not be the nicest person but that doesn't bother me, he is a Chelsea legend. Frank Lampard is a good man, I can't think of any reason to dislike him on a personal level.

It's not them- it's me! I have disliked them both for years, it's not about what's in the press. It's just them, there is something about them I just don't like. I can't explain it, it isn't logical and it probably is unfair, but that's just how it is. And I don't dispute what they have achieved at Chelsea, as footballers I think they do a great job.

I was raised in a Man. U family and as far as I can remember I have been a fan as well. But to be honest i haven't been supporting any specific team since I turned 15 when I lost interest in the "my team is better than yours" thing and started appreciating the sport itself.

Fair enough. There are players I dislike just based on what I see on the pitch and how they carry themselves off the pitch. I can understand why people dislike Terry and Lampard, part of me dislikes them too. I don't like the way Lampard sulks when he isn't selected and I don't like the fact he was a private school boy and a Tory voter.
