I wanted to know which teams you guys think will win this years' EURO 2012 tournament?

Welcome to the forum. It's good to have new faces. It's really hard to say who will win the Euro. There are many great teams who frankly can go all the way. One thing that is so great about soccer is anything can happen! I am porutugese, and I fully support and think that Portugal can go all the way. Yes, they don't have the best squad but we have great players who can really give a lot to the team. Realistically: Spain and Germany are hot favorites. England and France have had too many mess-ups in my opinion to be able to travel into the final. My mind set: I want Portugal and I think they will fight until the end. They are in the hardest group though.

I think that either Spain or Germany will win, they both play quality attacking soccer and are hard to shut down. I can't see England winning it, they just aren't good enough.

But I am going to go for Russia and Ukraine, because I like going for underdogs.

I am definitely watching out for England because that is probably the most talked about team everytime the country is involved. Being the most football crazy in the world, it's often sad to see how England always fails to make it to the finals or some stage in the competition.

I am English, I've never experienced such apathy before a major tournament. Not many people are excited about the tournament, partly due to this being our worst team for around 20 years. Many fans are doubting whether we will make it out of the group stage, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't...

I enjoyed watching the game Spain v Italy game. I was very impressed with Italy, they showed a maturity and confidence which was surprising considering the match fixing scandal looming over them. This may not be the best Italian team, but they still have technically sound footballers and an excellent defense.

I'm looking forward to the games tonight. Portugal versus Denmark should be a good game. Holland versus Germany will be the biggest game of the tournament so far. Germany can knock Holland out of the tournament if they win, the two countries are not the best of friends either, it should be a cracker.

Well, Portugal scared me the last 15 mins of the game. Conceding a goal and then finally scoring on the 87th min. I think we will win Hlland though. Even though they want to get a first win, I believe Portugal are hungrier than they.
