Monaco - super team

So Monaco is the newest super team, right after Chelsea, Manchester City and PSG. They just recently trashed Tottenham 5-2, quite a competent team, will they make it on the French league and in Europe?

Tottenham was still adjusting to playing without Bale whom in the previous season they'd relied on too much. Monaco beating a team that lacked morale isn't much. They might do well in their domestic league but when it comes to them suddenly getting to be a force to reckon with in Europe, I think that's a little way off.

Nonetheless it might be too early to judge. Only time will tell.

5-2 is a heavy result and I don't think Tottenham lacks morale, Bale is out, but many players are there and Villas-Boas is doing his job. I think they were clearly outplayed.

Arsenal beat City 3-1, do we assume they are going to win the league now. Monaco's was a pre-season win. They do have the resources to break into Europe but lets not think too much into their early success. Let them face PSG in the league and we'll see.

PSG is already falling behind on day 2 of the French League while Mónaco has two wins out of two games, but you're right, we are just beginning.

Monaco lost points in the last match. By the uprisal of Monaco, I think French League is attracting more eyeballs of fans worldwide. Now, PSG and Monaco are the Real and Barca of French League.

I was surprised when Monaco lost the first points, but only Marseille now has 3 wins in the matches. PSG managed the first victory after 3 games, it's only 8th with 5 points...

No not really, super teams have a way of being counter productive unto themselves. They will be able to challenge for all this titles but winning them is something that am really doubtful about it. However, my reason can also be wrong it just stems from what i have seen In Chelsea and City. They do not have a consistency that you would expect from top notch teams.

I think that's a given, they are the two strongest teams and it will take nearly a miracle for anyone else to challenge them, my money is on PSG winning it.
As for the Premiership, I'm betting on either Chelsea or City.

I haven't even realized until now that PSG had started the season with 2 defeats. They now have 3 wins in a row and 3rd spot, only 2 points behind the 1st Mónaco...

Without a doubt the French title will go to PSG or Monaco due to the way they've spent money this season, I do think Marseille will finish behind them though.
