I think that's fair. However it might not be appropriate to judge them using their goals because they play in different league; it might be easier to score in France as opposed to Italy.

It IS easier to score in France than Italy. Just look at Giroud's time at Montpellier and compare it to the damp squib he is at Arsenal.

Yes, indeed. That's why I feel it is unfavourable to just judge them in terms of goals. You have to include their assists and all round contribution.

Well he is now playing for PSG, like Zlatan Ibrahimovic. They both played In Seria A at the same time. They are two different types of strikers. I would say Zlatan is unbeatable, if you compare those two. Zlatan is in my opinion one of the 3 best strikers in the world. Number 1: Messi nr.2: Cristiano Ronaldo 3: Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Ronaldo is a winger. He is allowed to roam centrally but he always plays on the wing. I wouldn't call him a traditional striker.

As good as Ibra is, he has been terribly overrated since that game against England. One of the best players in the world but he I wouldn't quantify that to top 3.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a good striker but I wouldn't put him in the top 3 as RVP is doing fantastic at the moment for United, of course he is a good finisher if Ibra can make England look average.

This thread was originally posted last year, but I'll answer regardless.

The best striker in Serie A is Mario Balotelli. I think he'll lead the league. The best in form attacker at the moment must be Napoli's Hamisk. I believe he has 3 goals already.
