Chelsea were quite poor. Their only bright spark was Oscar, who, aside from his goal was the one attacking player who looked like carving Basel open. Eto'o was really poor, he look like another Shevchenko signing for Chelsea - past his best. Having said all that, Basel looked really sharp with their passing and took their first goal really well. They are dark horses to qualify for the next stage.

I am surprised Chelsea lost against Basel as I assumed the likes of Oscar, Hazard and the other stars they have in their team would easily brush them aside.

I will admit Basel are the Bayern Munich of Swiss football with their crisp passing and fantastic play intelligence as they shown to have knocked Manchester United out the Champions League a few seasons ago and progressed to the Europa League semis last season. They are dark horses indeed and I'm not going to lie about it. It will be interesting to see how they progress in the next few group games.
