21 million to Sporting

Veloso is still playing, but to be honest he left too soon from Sporting. He went to a small club in Italy and now I think he is in Russia, not the best place to jump to a big league I suppose.

That is a shame as he was a really strong midfielder and one I enjoyed watching, shame he decided to go there as I think he would have done well in the EPL, La Liga or Bundesliga

He had for sure, he, Yannick Djaló and João Moutinho all were in a rush to leave Sporting at the same time, just Moutinho did well, the other kind of got lost in the way...

It appears that is the case as I know Moutinho has done well since he left Sporting, it's the same the others didn't stay for awhile longer and would have benefited the club as well as their own careers.

Moutinho did well because he moved to Porto and become even more valuable, Porto is a great team and it was not a bad transfer for Sporting, 11M + a % of a future transfer, what means Sporting did money when Porto sold him to Mónaco.
