What's your opinion about romanian league?

I mean, it's not an important league, but we have some interesting teams like Steaua Bucuresti and others. Have you ever heard about Hagi? Let me know and cheers everyone!

That was just what I was about to say, the only thing I know about Romania's football is Hagi, he played in Barcelona a few years ago right? You don't have very strong teams do you, at least you don't go far on European competitions I think.

I remember Hagi and I think there was a guy named Ionesco. to that time the Romanian national team was pretty strong. They had a good technique.

Don't know much about the league though. Romanian teams don't have much success European wide.

I don't know much about Romanian league teams apart from Cluj, Rapid and Steaua Bucureşt who have appeared in Europe's competitions.

Hagi was a fantastic midfield maestro who was a joy to watch when on top form, other than that Dan Petrescu, Adrian Mutu and Dorinel Munteanu were great Romanian players.

I saw a few games from this league and I think they have only 2 or 3 decent teams, and the rest are just terrible. CFR Cluj, Dinamo and Steaua can be considered good teams, but I believe they all got internal and administrative problems.

I've never seen a game from the Romanian league, but I hear some news sometimes as there are several Portuguese players there.

If the first number is the matches played, the Steaua is actually far ahead, since they have 1 game in hand to the second place and 2 from everyone else. They seem to be undefeated too!

Steaua has 25 points in 9 games with 8 wins and 1 draw, they are the clear favorite, and because a few big teams invoked bankruptcy last year, and some have legal problems it seems they have no competition at all. I also read that Steaua owner is in jail for fraud and for football corruption.

I only know Hagi. Terrific player! He was a very skilled, talented professional. His left foot was blessed!

There are few great wonderkids in the romainian league who i would like to see perform on a bigger stage, such as Stanciu and Iancu.

The reputation of this country regarding soccer faded away a long time ago. They were unstoppable in their "Golden Age" when - almost - everything was in their favour, although they had to endure the dreadful dictatorship regime! I wouldn't say that today there aren't really no good soccer players whatsoever, a good example might be Adrian Mutu ( but he has recently implied himself in some bad altercations with other important celebrities, and he has been up to drugs as well, like Ronaldinho as a matter of fact.). They could be better, truth be said, but I'm not pretty sure about their future. Probably I'm misinformed as I'm not truly interested in this particular country and things might have chanced recently, so excuse me for any possible errors.
