Manchester United assistant manager Ryan Giggs says new boss Louis van Gaal will not be afraid of taking over at Old Trafford, but will instead "relish it".
Louis Van Gaal, though he failed to get the Dutch national team to the world cup finals, has proved beyond reasonable doubt that he's a master tactician like Mourinho [who seems to have lost his touch of late]. For United, after a humiliating season when Moyes was in charge, they have some hope that this season things are going to be a lot different.

What do you guys think? Is Van Gaal going to breathe some life back into United?

Sure, Van Gaal will boost Manchester United wholly. Really, he is a clever man and he had proved his tactical abilities in this world cup. I hope Manchester United to reach top 3 in this season.

LVG should prove to be a major upgrade tactically over Moyes. It's hard to envision United having a worse season than last year. LVG should inject some life into the club though United still need to bolster the team with the signing of at least 3 quality players. Hopefully Vidal is on his way.

I totally agree with that dillinger, Moyes didn't had what is takes to fulfill the place left by Ferguson and I do think Van Gal has. He has done a fantastic job with Holland, so I think MU will be a serious contender next season. Will he recover Nani? :D
