Today the group stages of the CL begin with Manchester Untied in action as well as Bayern. What is your take when it comes to this giant of the game. Will Bayern be able to have the run they did last season and will Manchester finally win this title that has really eluded them for so long?

I'm eager to see my Benfica against Anderlecht tonight.
We've had a rocky beginning to the season but we've been improving every game so hopefully we can get a good result tonight

And so it was that the teams that were expected to win, won and in phenomenal fashion. Manchester proved that they are still able to dance in Europe. Madrid in the same fashion outclassed their opponents with CR7 making some magic as he always does. I loved the matches last night hope those that will be played tonight will have that same amount of energy and performance.

Last nights matches were great, Madrid trouncing Galatasaray and my Benfica completely dominating Anderlecht with a phenomenal first half were the highlights for me, although I might be biased :)

Looking forward to see Barcelona later tonight, see how Neymar handles the Champions League :)

It's football you have a right to be biased. How else can you support one team with there being such many teams that you can choose from. I am also looking forward to see how Neymar does the same. However for me the game I want really see is Arsenal playing. This is because of the daunting task that Wenger has he is hanging by a string in the Emirates.I want to see the squad which he picks.

Yes, Arsenal is very interesting to watch this year, especially now with Ozil dictating their play.
However, right now they are having some troubles with injuries so Marseille might surprise them today.

Arsenal won and to tell the truth it was stunning. I love the goal by Ramsey not classic but you get the feeling that striker or no striker there is something about the team that is new. They have a morale boost. It goes to show that the pressure has finally gotten to Wenger he has to perform.

I am really surprised with Chelsea losing at home to Basel, I wasn't seeing it coming. No doubt Basel has a solid team, but Chelsea can't afford to be losing at home to them...

That one will be a tough group, Arsenal, Napoli and Dortmund head to head, hard to see who will go through.

Chelsea was very surprising, Mourinho needs to turn it around fast, you know how Abramovich's trigger finger gets itchy fast.
I also wasn't expecting Napoli to beat Dortmund, with them losing Cavani. But I guess Dortmund also lost their main players so...

Napoli lost Cavani, but they made a huge investment on the team and have Benitez, an experienced manager that usually does better with smaller teams like Napoli. If you ask me, I don't know who will make it top 2 of this group, but no doubt Arsenal and Napoli started better. :)

Whenever I see having Benitez being mentioned, it's usually in a negative manner, that man is a terrible manager.

I think this year Real Madrid will win Champions League. They will probably have to battle Bayern in the final. I don't think Manchester has the power to even get to the semifinals this year. They aren't playing their best football right now.

@Oakster, Benitez of no Benitez, Napoli seems very hard to beat at home. I'm curious to see if they will lose a game at home this year.
