Real Madrid have rejected a €6 million bid from Everton for young forward Denis Cheryshev, according to Marca.
The Russian forward has been showing a lot of potential playing for Real Madrid Castilla in Segunda, and has seen his name linked with several English clubs.
Spanish daily Marca understands that Everton were the first to make an official bid for the player’s services, but only to have los Blancos swiftly reject the offer.
Real Madrid officials see Cheryshev as an important player for the future, as witnessed by Jose Mourinho’s decision to include him in the first team squad for the Champions League clash with Manchester City.
The 21-year-old, who has spent last ten years at Santiago Bernabeu, was given his first Russia cap by Fabio Capello in the friendly draw with United States.
Cheryshev has been in fine form this season, scoring 4 goals in 11 league appearances for Real Madrid Castilla.

He should leave Real Madrid. He will not have many chances to play in the first team, a few sub appearances here and there, that's all he can hope for. He would need to be scoring 20 goals in 11 games to have a chance and even then I doubt he would get in.

Benzema and Higuain are still young. His position is blocked for the foreseeable future.

Yes .. I think that he should have left Real Madrid and make a name for himself in England. At least, at Everton he would have got a chance to play in the first team. Also, €6 million is a pretty big amount for such a young player.
