Barca fans are expecting a uprise of Barcelona with the help of two super stars- messi and neymar. But I personally feel this wouldn't be a successful partnership as I expect ego clashes between them. What do you think about this? Oh, yes, we need to wait to see what happens in this season.

I personally think this partnership would prove to be unsuccessful. This is because both players have contrasting styles; while Messi loves to score and create chances, Neymar would prefer to samba on the ball. It would ultimately lead to them clashing and falling out.

There are lots of compromises made when you're being paid millions of dollars. I'd expect that to happen between the two.

They may have clashing personalities, but when money is on the line, people will do anything.

I think they could form a great partnership if the right coaching is implemented to merge both style of plays. Both players possess great vision and passing abilities which could lead to them assisting each other time after time. However, having said this, their partnership may well collapse if one allows his ego to overwhelm him

Do you remember the era of the greats in Real Madrid? During their time at the club they actually didn't win the champions league. So I expect the same thing to happen with Barca this time round. They have the good players but if the team's only going to concentrate on the 'glitter' they may get that number two slot at home but I write them off when it comes to the Champions league.

Messi and Neymar will be a success I am quite sure. They both have immense talent, they both seem quite humble despite being millionaires, so I don't see what can go wrong. It's a huge responsibility for the coach Gerardo Martino who has not only Messi and Neymar, but also much more talent...

Neymar will have to behave in his time at Barcelona. Everyone knows that when you play in Barca, you must do it according to the rules of the club and not dribbling all the time like he did in Santos. If he can do that then I believe everything is going to be fine.

He also has to master the art of diving which I'm sure he's doing well at with the help of the great Leader in Sergio Busquets.

LOL (the great leader Sergio Busquets!)

But considering the talent Barcelona does have I don't think it's a good thing for them to stoop that low — I mean the diving? It should be used only as a desperate measure.

If Messi alone can make the miracles he does, I imagine Messi and Neymar or better, I can't imagine...

Denis, Barça does have a lot of talent, but football is a business and winning brings a lot of money in, so a dive once in a while is a necessary evil to win.

No. Football is not like that; if it were the galacticos would have been branded the greatest team of all time. Applying your logic: Look what figo could do on his own at Barcelona; Imagine what he could do with Ronaldo.

So if diving is OK what about provoking an opponent to like head-butt you in the chest so he can get sent off? Fine such methods do help teams win but doesn't anyone care about being sportsmanlike and fight fair?

I watched an FA match where a Liverpool player (who was about to score) got the ball out of play because one of their opponents was injured. He could have scored then got back but then. . .

But back to diving-

It's not cool. I guess that's why a 'diver' gets booked unless they're really good at it.
