Most Hated Footballer?

Looking around yesterday I came across an article that listed the most hated footballers.

According to the writer, Cristiano Ronaldo, because of his diving skills and arrogance, earned the top spot. Luis Suarez also was on the list because of his penchant for chewing the ears off defenders. . .and a number of other players I didn't expect would be hated by many people [Henry, Van Bommel, Nigel de Jong, Robben]

Now this might be the opinion of just one person but it's best to ascertain how true this is. Do you hate any footballer? If so, why?

Yeah Ronaldo even if he is a talented player, his attitude and arrogance are not ok. I don't like him but I wouldn't say I hate him, he betrayed Man United and he acted like a little girl to obtain the transfer to Madrid. I really don't like Drogba and Ruud Van Nistelrooy I always found them enervating.

What I'm wondering is why the likes of Messi don't get on such lists considering the fact that he's not such a nice guy after all.

He dodges paying tax, I saw a clip of him slapping a defender and yet another [the midget (maybe he knows kung-fu!) grabbing the collar of much bigger player. . .add his occasional diving to that and realize the little guy can be disgusting. . .

I don't heard nothing of this kind about Messi, for me he looked like a true gentleman (man of honor) on and of the field. He probably had some anger problems because we all get mad sometimes even more if you are in a constant public attention. I will search to see if I find something about him.

It's OK to get angry but someone who wants to be a good role model as he pretends to be most of the time, should at least try to control that anger. I'll try to find the clips [again] and post the links so you can take a look and confirm that Messi is just as bad as Cristiano.

I read the article about the tax fraud, but I still can't find nothing about him hitting another player or reckless driving. Please share the videos or some link if you can find them.

I have a kind of hatred towards Messi lately. Money has managed to get up his head, and now he has become a rather lame soccer player for everybody, because now it's more important for him to be in commercials rather than train himself...

I find Messi to be rather annoying. With money comes vanity and with vanity comes the downfall of all great people. That's probably the reason why I hate the Argentinian team so much . . . because of 'Messy.'
