Manchester united signed Luke Shaw and Herrera

Manchester United just picked up these two players try to rebuild their form that they once had. Do you think they were good pick ups? and who do you think they will get now?
I think that Luke Shaw is like a hit or miss because he is so young. I really hope that he turns out like Rooney and becomes one of the pillars in the soccer team.

I don't think Manchester United is in need of a player for that position (Luke Shaw), but they are surely needing an midfielder to assist Rooney in this moment. The midfield of Manchester United is really lacking at the moment, Herrera will help a lot.

I am glad they have spent to much on these two players, as personally I don't think either of them will take the league by storm any time soon anyway. As far as I am concerned, this was a waste of money for the short term fix that they definitely need, unless Van Gaal thinks he already has all the tools he needs to get United back into the top 4 minimum. I wouldn't be too sure, although the whole Suarez fiasco will affect Liverpool, guess it depends by how much

I think it is good for the future but i feel like they need players for the present if they want to get champions league football and these signings dont exactly compete with some other clubs who are buying players who are already proven at some sort of level of high competition like the champions league.

I hope Manchester United to come back this season with a bang. I am very much excited by seeing the extraordinary coaching tactics of Van Gaal in the world cup.

These two players could give Man UNited a much needed boost this season. Luke Shaw has a lot of potential, as others have pointed out he could be a new Rooney. Herrera has already proved he has got what it takes and will be a valuable asset to Man United's midfield.

Vidal is the one player I really hope Utd are able to sign. He would be a real difference maker. The Daily Mail is reporting that a £35m transfer fee has been agreed. Would love to see this happen.
