The management and other players are not directly involved in trying to tone down a player who has a very strong opinion or feels let down when he's benched. I just hope he does not react in a negative manner and sticks to a "thumbs up" sign, especially during the beginning of the season. I also hope the management makes him feel more wanted by playing him in a position he has excelled in. I like Rooney a lot. I think he is a genuine star.</blockquote>
