The bans been handed, whether it was severe enough or too severe is still up for debate, so feel free to do so here as well.

In practical means though, how much do you think this will affect Liverpool next year?

I feel that they will do fine, and be able to hold the ship until he returns to add that extra spice to their team. The buy of Llana is a great one in my opinion, and makes their attack even more deadly. They look strong as ever, as for how they deal with the extra fixtures, I am not so sure. I feel that they will make it into the top 4, but not be near challenging for the title unless an early exit for the champions league is on the cards

He will miss pretty important matches for the league, and very good friendlies against strong opponents.

I don't think Lallana will help that much in this moment, Suarez was the heart of the team alongside Gerrard. The sudden suspension of Suarez will affect the chemistry they had, compromising everything for a while.

Lallana had one good season last year at southampton in a team that excelled above expectations. Imo he is a waste of money and i feel there are 10x better players who can play in his position. As far as how much the ban will effect Liverpool, its hard to say. They relied too heavily on him last season and he formed a formidable strike partnership with Sturridge, who is more than capable of playing on his own upfront. Only time will tell!

I dont think they will miss him until they start struggling in a game because he is normally the difference and if a game goes 80 mins without a goal, they could start to see cracks in the team and struggles,
However, their biggest problem is the defence because Sturddige inform could bail them out.
