Thierry Henry has agreed in principle to make a sensational return to Arsenal for a third spell in January.

The club are aiming for their all-time leading goalscorer to begin his second loan in consecutive seasons on January 1.

Good move or is Arsene getting desperate?

I think this is a sign of desperation. Henry did well on his return, scoring some important goals, but he is a shadow of the player he once was and I think his presence overwhelms the players in the dressing room. Players like Giroud will feel in awe of Henry, that's not good.

He is 35 now, 36 in August. I've read that Arsenal will sign Henry on a loan deal and Huntelaar on a permanent deal. Hunterlaar is near the end of his contract and Schalke will not want to let him leave for free. 5 million would be good business for a proven goal scorer.

I don`t think that Henry will do any miracles for Arsenal. Maybe he will win a game or two for them, scoring important goals but he is not the player he once was. Huntelaar is a great player and he would be great for Arsenal.

They definitely need a clinical striker. Arsenal have always had good strikers in the past twenty-years. They showed stats on Arsenal on Sky Sports. They are one of the best for passing accuracy, they have the most possession and they are 3rd in the defense league. Their only problem is finishing it off with goals. They scored 5 last night but reading are shocking.
