Favorite Cleat Brand?

I do have some Nike apparel but most of it is Adidas as I prefer Adidas for sure over Nike. With this said, I only have Adidas cleats. Looks like its 2 v 2! lol

I love the game of soccer, but I do not know the ins and outs yet. Soccer is not very popular where I live. Please excuse this next question since I am just a beginner. What are the differences between the cleats by each company? Is it the fit or is it something else?

Am I the only person who doesn't take any notice of what make of boots he buys? I actually want to know two things when I buy boots:
1. Is the bit that goes over the toes too soft?
2. What colours are they available in.
I also refuse to pay more than $40 for a pair of boots.
