Elgin/Newcastle fan

Hello all,

Just arrived here. I was brought up in the highlands of Scotland and my closest team growing up was third division Elgin City, who I still follow from afar. This year we have Rangers in our league which makes things harder for us! Like most people in Scotland, I also follow an English team -- Newcastle, probably something to do with the black and white stripes!

I'm jealous that you live there -- do you get to many of the games? Growing up in Scotland I only got to about one a season. My most memorable was the Villa game we lost when Dyer and Bowyer started fighting...

never get to games now, always working. in fact last game i was at bobby robson was still in charge! that's a good few year ago!
