I used to think that soccer would be much more exciting if the field was shortened to give the game a more do or die closed in type of feel. I like the idea of more goals being scored however our international buddies love a wider field it gives the game more suspense and seems to really prolong the game.Another idea I had was to remove goal keepers and leave the goal post open but restrict all players 40 feet from entering a space near the goal post it would force them to make long kicks and not in close drives.</blockquote>
