Today is the draw for Champions League 2013. The inclusion of Arsenal in the first pot has already become controversial. I am excited to see which are the teams will be in the group of death.

why controversial? They are in the competition every year and they go through the Group Stage every time. The most unlucky team of the first two pots will be the one that draws Borussia Dortmund from the third pot and I think that this will be the group of death if it is a strong team from the second pot. Your thoughts?

Arsene will be looking to make some more money from the group stages to invest in buying more players for the Premiership. It does not look too good for him even though the team is producing good results. One to two more injuries, and the bench strength will consist of the U-19 players.

well, after I saw the draw I think that there are strong favorites to qualify to the next phase in all groups exept from Group C in which 3 teams will battle for 1 place and mostly in group F with 4 teams at about the same level. I believe that Arsenal and Dortmund will qualify leaving Napoli outside the Champions League although Benitez has always a way to progress in these kind of competitions. That is the group that we may see some surprises.

Arsenal got the hardest group of them all, I found the groups very similar to the last year, but overall easier, I'm expecting some big matches between PSG - SL Benfica, Bayern - Man City, Real - Juventus, Barcelona - Milan, and Borussia - Arsenal, I think there aren't going to be much surprises although on the Arsenal and Barcelona group's something weird might happen, Celtic already made well against a barcelona who wasn't much stronger than they are now, let's wait and see.

I don't think that Manchester City will be a problem for Bayern to beat. They don't play well in their european matches every season. In their first year in the Europa League, they had lost from a team named Aris from Greece. Pathetic. As for Celtic, they lost two of their best players, Hooper and Wanyama, without replacing them, so I can see them struggling this season and I can't see them qualifying to the next round.

As a Real Madrid fan, I am very excited to see how Real manages to defeat Juventus. It seems Juventus is stronger than the last season.

With the addition of Gareth Bale, Real Madrid is even stronger and more exciting to watch I would think. The record deal does put the onus on him to perform.

Yes, Real Madrid squad is very deep and forwards including Christiano Ronaldo, Bale, Isco, Angel Di Maria and Benzema can destroy any top teams in Europe.

Previously arsenal has been given easy groups and they have been able to produce results . I just wonder now that they have been given this pressure will they perform. This group will be something to watch Arsenal begin their campaign against Marseille.
