A lot of games going on at this moment, Portugal just made 2-2 against Ireland, Ronaldo scored. Portugal is playing with 10 after Postiga being sent out on minute 43.

I'm watching England strolling through the match against Moldova, they are 4-0 up at the moment. I'm not surprised that Portugal are now winning 3-2 (even with ten men) as Northern Ireland are not what they once were.

Ireland is with 10 too now from minute 62' and Ronaldo just made the hat-trick and 4-2 for Portugal. :D They might not be as strong as they used too, but they just beat recently Russia...

A walk in the park for England tonight... :)

This Ecuador/Colombia game is infuriating. 1.5 hour rain delay, a missed PK, an necessary red card, a yellow card for the same exact play, and the lights went out before the second half delaying the game 15 minutes.

England had a walk in the park against Moldova and to be fair they are not the strongest team in the world. But what a game for Portugal though!

The referee lost is, Postiga deserved a yellow card and not a red one and then in the second half two N. Ireland players sent out and this was not an aggressive game...

I agree. Sometimes I wonder what is going through the mind of a ref...

They are just people, they do make mistakes, but some are really hard to understand. I recall Nani being sent off against Real in the CL, that was an unbelievable decision...

I agree, I've always wondered that too, maybe it's pressure that gets to them and they make decisions that the crowd doesn't like?
Yes. It is probably the pressure from the crowd. The refs are just trying their best but sometimes they crack under pressure... I know I would

I would crack under that much pressure do as the thought of having 60,000 people watching your every move when someone goes down. Refs do need more protection though as one day, a poor ref is going to harm himself from all the pressure.
