It is a good move for Paul Lambert because Aston Villa are a bigger club and they massively underachieved last season. Inheriting a squad which has underachieved is always a good career move. The Villa fans seem to be pleased with the appointment as well. I will be interested to see if he integrates the young players at Villa. Players like Bannan, Clarke and Gardner are very talented.
