Arsenal still clinging to Wenger?

Last year, at the beginning of the Season, Wenger stated clearly that if he didn't win the league, he would leave Arsenal. To be fair, he did quite a good job but failed to deliver on his promise. At the end of the season though, the Frenchman had changed his tune.

Wenger told news reporters he intended to stay on at Arsenal a little while longer. Maybe Arsenal isn't much interested in winning any titles?

I think the FA cup win changed his mind, as i remember him quoting something after the game about it. With a couple more signings these season i can see them winning the league, with a couple of the top 4/5 clubs rebuilding!

I doubt that Arsenal will ever win the league again in Wenger's time. Most good players would not make a move to Arsenal because they know it's not one of those teams hungry for trophies.

It's the strangest relation I've seen this from Wenger and Arsenal. The club doesn't win anything, he has made some really questionable decisions over the years and even so the owners decide to keep him against the will of the fans. What can be done? Nothing really.
