What Arsenal have shown so far is something that has to be said is phenomenal. Though it has to be said that they have not met any big teams so far they have been impressive. What are your thoughts on the chances that the drought will end for Wenger this time around.

Let's not deceive each other. A team can have a good start in a league but stumble towards the end of the season. It happened to Man United some time back. They had a nine point lead with just a few games remaining. Then they started losing consistently and City [I think] dethroned them.

As for Arsenal, I think Wenger was an idiot to lay his job on the line. He said if he won't win a title he'd leave. Fact is [if the West Brom] match is anything to go by, he should start packing his bags because Arsenal most certainly, won't win bag the title this season.

I think Arsenal is a good team, but I agree... their consistency is lacking. Like the post above said, Wegner is a bit silly now a days.

:)

Their start has been brilliant even with a lot of injuries. True, they haven't faced the big teams except for Tottenham (are they big? :)), but top of the league is something no one would expect from them at this point.

The problem for me with Arsenal you never know what to expect. They have shown that they are good enough to enter into the CL consistently. However, keeping up does not mean anything if you never make a really bid for the title. Rather you did not try it at all.

Arsenal has a very good team this year, and the trainer seems to motivate the players in a productive way. Until now we have 5 wins, 1 draw and only one defeat, so I'm confident in the team and the manager that they will win the League this year.

This weekend we have a easy game with WBA, Chelsea meets Norwich and Liverpool has a difficult game with Newcastle. So I believe nothing will change this weekend regarding league top 3 positions.

Liverpool losing gas (draw), Arsenal confirming the good season and Chelsea already second. Really close premiership this year, United drawn again...

This is what good competition is all about. The closer the top teams are to each other, the less complacent they'll be and that means we the fans get to enjoy the matches more because all the top teams will keep fighting hard to either move forward or retain their current positions.

Love the way the EPL is progressing.
